raleigh real estate companies: Brier Creek, Raleigh North Carolina - 01/28/09 05:54 AM
Living at Briercreek is an active person's dream.  If walking or running is your thing, you can always find a fresh route.  In the mood for a walk with a treat awaiting you on the other end?  How about a waffle cone of homemade ice cream at Maggie Moos or the Sunday morning paper with a latte at Barnes and Noble?  And with the holidays right around the corner, Christmas at Briercreek is magical.  Old-fashioned horse-drawn sleigh rides, Christmas carolers, hot cocoa and a visit with Santa are the custom every weekend in December.

raleigh real estate companies: Observations from the Outside.... - 01/21/09 12:56 AM
I was looking at inventory in Wake County North Carolina this weekend, surfing throught the REO properties for sale and comparing to other markets. One thing jumped out at me, an agent has three bank owned listings all pretty high priced, over $600,000, and he has a comment on them that cracked me up...."don't waste your time or mine with a low ball offer".

Raleigh and suburbs, Apex, Cary, Holly Springs and the nearby cities of Durham and Chapel Hill are highly ranked in every "Where To Live" or "Best Place to..." list from creative to tech, from retirement to college grads, 15% of the license plates are from somewhere else, and as beautiful as it is, greater Raleigh is not a huge vacation destination … (2 comments)

raleigh real estate companies: Team Work+Innovation=Engaged Consumer - 04/08/08 12:44 AM

What is the economic upside of teamwork in real estate? I don't know that we have a benchmark for that in our industry yet. We have seen teamwork on small levels; agent teams, small brokers (less that 20 agents) and at high level among the brands (which rarely translates to the managers and agents in the field).
My market will generate just shy of $250,000,000 in commissions this year. That is a pretty big pie for a team to pursue.  The top five percent of all agents in our market sell $6,800,000 in volume annually producing around $200,000 in gross commission … (1 comments)
