OK, let me first start by saying how disappointing this park was! It was only $4 to get in, but for what we saw, that $4 was a waste of money! The park ranger gave us a map of the park, so we set out to find a place to eat and enjoyed a picnic lunch before we set out on our 6.5 mile walk that would take us along the Manatee River. Well school is out. Are your kids driving you up the wall yet? Are you already counting down the days until school starts again? LOL..... Here is a list of things teens and tweens can do in Lakewood Ranch. An outdoor movie night for teens on Friday from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. It will be Greenbrook Village's Adventure Park, where the PG-13-rated "Accepted" will be shown. The event is free and open to kids 11 to 16 years old, but not their younger siblings or parents.
