real estate: Younger Agents Can Do Better Than the Veteran

I am under 30, and while I don't like to admit my age, for fear of being looked upon as inexperienced, I take pride in knowing that I am a hard worker and a GREAT REALTOR. I (8 comments)

I was always an upbeat child, interested in people. Social & Energetic, Warm and inviting, it wasn't hard to for someone like myself to adjust to this business. I gave more of my TIME and ATTENTION and it was all in the NAME of RECIPROCITY that others gave back, in form of referrals, friendships, relationships for life. I love details and systems. In this 24/7 job, I had to do more than just LOVE being with PEOPLE, I had to LEARN to WORK WITH THEM. It didnt take long for my infectious enthusiasm to spread. With the wave of pessimism.... we sometimes overlook that with recession comes great opportunities. My business partner, Marc Brodeur, often reminds me of the common adage to buy low and sell high. He then goes on to mention, "but, Annabelle, do they ever really do this?" The point he made was shocking. With the home prices at their lowest, buyers and investors alike are not taking the very best deals offered to them. Fear prevents them from buying low (it might go lower, oh no!) and euphoria (it will go higher!) prevents them from selling high. This occurs in all markets, (3 comments)
