I have been in the real estate industry for the last decade and change building content on the web. Looking back at the last few years, I see trend that is clearly taking shape on the web in the Minneapolis real estate market: Buyers and Sellers are defaulting to searching for real estate on the large websites. However when it comes to selecting an agent, a handful of good Wordpress or Strikingly micro sites will drive leads with a high level of interest. Content And Context Are The King And Queen Of The Interwebs Everyone can agree that content (1 comments)

minneapolis real estate: Why I sell real estate in Minneapolis
- 08/05/13 01:40 PM
When I was 17 a friend of mine invited me along to a birthday party. The location was in the Mill District in downtown Minneapolis. At the time the neighborhood was nothing more than a handful of buildings with plenty of parking lots to boot. I can still remember being absolutely enthralled with the development of the area and what was about to unfold. I was inspired by the lifestyle, being an urban pioneer at the forefront of the density coming to downtown Minneapolis. That night my mind was made up: when I finished college I would wind (0 comments)
minneapolis real estate: Josh Neumann Realtor | Lakes Sothebys International Realty

Real estate in 2013 is going to move at a fast clip in downtown Minneapolis as well as the Minneapolis Lakes area. Few agents know the current market conditions better than a seasoned Realtor Josh Neumann at Lakes Sotheby's International Realty. Minneapolis condos and lofts are selling before they even hit the market leaving little opportunity for a Buyer to peruse the market. The bottom line? Buyers need to get educated on the market long before they pull the trigger on a purchase and having an agent that can articulate current market conditions is critical for a smooth buying experience. minneapolis real estate: Use an RC Helicopter & HD cam to get great views of Minneapolis Condos
- 12/01/12 04:55 AM
The Minneapolis condo market is competitive and recently one of the local photographers I work with started using a helicopter and HD camera to document real estate from the sky. Some of the neighborhoods--such as real estate in the Mill District have a number of new projects developed over the last decade. The easiest way to give someone who has yet to walk the area a tour is a simple video showcasing each building. Buildings like the Carlyle, which a 39 story high rise on the riverfront look quite amazing from the air as opposed to a few (1 comments)
minneapolis real estate: Use an RC Helicopter & HD cam to get great video of Minneapolis Condos

Not too long ago our local professional photographer made big headlines telling all of the Minneapolis real estate agents that he puchased a radio controlled helicopter and mounted a HD camera that allowed him to begin filming real estate. The results were fantastic!
For years I have been focused in the urban markets of Minneapolis-my idea was to create a birds eye view of the different neighborhoods in downtown Minneapolis to give Buyers and Sellers starting with the historic Mill District along the riverfront. My objective was to create a short video detailing each building giving some point (2 comments)
minneapolis real estate: The Buying Process Will Take Longer In 2012
- 01/27/12 02:51 AM
For an agent who handles plenty of business from the web I am beginning to see a clear trend in the Minneapolis real estate market that started to surface in the middle of 2011 and continues into 2012: the buying process is taking longer as move in ready and distressed inventory is evaporating from the market. This blanketed statement does not apply to every niche real estate market across our country but in the areas that have begun to see significant decreasing inventory this statement holds true from a number of reasons. As many of the housing metrics (2 comments)
minneapolis real estate: Minneapolis Brownstone at Lenox Lofts 525 9th St S, Unit 4, Minneapolis, MN 55404 MLS ID 4106884

If you are a Chicago native you can look anywhere in the city and a stone’s throw away are brownstones which dot the streets in a row house format. Originally designed to hold large families in the 80s, 90s and 2000s developers purchased these structures and subdivided them into smaller spaces making them attractive for single and couples dwellers. Not so much the case in Minneapolis where only a few select neighborhoods brownstones remain. The Lenox Brownstones in Minneapolis had the same fate. In the early 2000s a local developer literally raised the entire building to construct one level (0 comments)
