Want a different sort of “Girlfriends Getaway” weekend in August — maybe a chance to canoe, fish, rappel, shoot a pistol — or learn to cook with a Dutch oven over an open fire? Want to be a more competent, more confident,camper or day-hiker? Dozens of classes are taught at the “Becoming an Arizona Outdoors Woman” weekend August 14-16 at Camp Friendly Pines near Prescott Arizona. Enrollment for the weekend is $240.00.
