The Guardian Angel organization has been invited by Apache Junction Arizona to help bring security to the area. The group has moved to the Bashas Old Town Plaza located at 300 West Apache Trail in Apache Junction. The center hosts an antique store, barber shop, bar and grill, natural food store, laundromat and engine mechanic. To help the Guardian Angel group pay their bills they have started a thrift store in front of the gym in the center. Local Gold Canyon and Apache Junction Arizona food banks are in need of donations. Not as many people think of making food donations in the summer as they do at Thanksgiving, Christmas and the holidays. But the reality is that people who are in need of food need help year round, not just the holidays. A recent push by the local chamber of Commerces helped bring in some needed supplies, but the food banks are still in need of support.
