Best Time for Real Estate is a blog site designed primarily for homeowners or prospective homeowners who currently live in Maryland Suburbs of Washington, DC or are prospectively planning to move here. Because real estate goes through various cycles, so do my recommendations for the best way to approach real estate. Sometimes it is a buyer's market, sometimes it is a seller's market, and sometimes it is a balanced market. Sometimes the interest rates are going down, sometimes they are going up and sometimes they are stabilized. This blog exists to give my recommendations at different times. Many people who are planning to relocated to Montgomery County, Maryland often have sticker shock when they find out how much real estate costs here. It is often more and sometimes a lot more than they are used to. However, homeowners in Montgomery County, Maryland find that with the proximity to the federal government (the federal district is less than ten miles from the border of Montgomery county) that this price and the equity of homes in the area is much more stable then other parts of the United States. I also like to share information about local businesses, local shopping, local schools, local dining, local entertainment, and local things to do - both in Washington, DC, Montgomery and Prince George's County, but also day trips within 50 miles and 100 miles of our area.
