Who doesn't love a good local Farmer's market? Spokane WA has some great Seasonal Farmers Markets, and I plan on making the rounds weekly to support them!
Here are a few of my favorites, and I would love to hear about your favorite Farmer's Market!

I love where I live. Spokane Wa.
There are so many incredible places to explore in the Pacific Northwest! Cities, country, lakes, rivers, the list never ends.
The quaility of life in Spokane is great, and real estate is more stable than most of the country.

Farm Chick Serena Thompson has finally revealed the location of her new store: 1601 W. Pacific Ave. in Browne's Addition.
Wow! This is too good to be true.
If you don't know about the FARM CHICKS you should!

They have written cookbooks, and regular columnists for County Living!

If you want to go someplace to eat on Spokane's South Hill that offers an incredible menu, whether you want to dine in or take out, visit the tried and true Lindaman's!
Lindaman's "Gourmet to go" is like your favorite pair of shoes. You try lots of places, and even love them for all kinds of reasons, but then you seem to go back to the pair that not only look good, but feel good too! You know, the ones that you go buy in every color?!

I have written 10 posts on why I love Spokane Wa. This is the final, number ONE!
To sum it up, I am a lifelong resident of Spokane and I truly believe in the quality of life here.
I love Spokane (number one) simply because it is HOME SWEET HOME!
Spokane is not too big, not too small, has lower than average cost of living, lower unemployment, 4 great seasons to enjoy, great outdoor activities, a thriving downtown, spectacular river, arts, music, culture, shopping, and my personal favorite is the dozens of nearby lakes.

Spokane has 4 very distinct seasons! Each of them hold their own beauty and opportunities.

In the SUMMER We have dozens of lakes around Spokane Wa to enjoy!
In the FALL, the colors are spectacular and the days are gorgeous!
In the WINTER it is like a wonderland here with many outlets for winter sports.
In the SPRING, the lilacs bloom and the northwest beauty abounds!
Spokane Wa weather is great for those who enjoy the four seasons!

Although many say "print" is on it's way out, I think the Inlander which is a Spokane based weekly magazine featuring News, Art, Culture, highlighting the local music scene, food and drink, movies, film, festivals, and so much more!
I was downtown Spokane last weekend at a local coffee place that is dearly loved by young adults called : The Emperyan". This is a hot spot for local musicians and artists to do their thing. I noticed a huge varity of people of ALL AGES sporting THE INLANDER MAGAZINE.

Here are a few year-end highlights and facts:
In Spokane Wa. 2009 there were a total of 9,782 Homes listed for sale, and 4,664 homes SOLD. that means about HALF the homes did NOT sell! Odds of selling in any given month varied from the low of 5% to the high of 16%. Overall 8.2% decrease in median home price for the year from 187k n 2008 to 169k in 2009. I deal in a wide variety of price ranges. Some say you should have a niche, and making happy clients is mine!
What would be a modest home for a first time home buyer, is indeed a luxury home for those who cannot buy one.
When you consider the plight of many in the human family, a "starter" home is more than the majority will ever own.
I don't decline clients or buyers regardless of how modest or fancy of a home they want to buy or sell.

The Homebuyer tax credit is having an impact. Closed sales on single family homes on less than one acreincluding condos are up 86.9% from the anemic November figures of last year . This November there were 471closed sales reported compared to 252 for the same month last year. The real estate business is a bridge building business. In these troubled times, I am even more aware that folks need reassurance, and help with trustworthy advisors. I love being the bridge. Many people have increased stresses right now, with things tightening up on the financial front for most of us.
Developing trust, confidentiality, and being a true advocate are all bridge building skills. Being an advocate, a confidant, and advisor of people in their real estate dealings is a serious matter. I take pride in knowing I am engaging with people on such a meaningful venture!
