As a lifelong resident of Spokane, WA. I would like to speak to the fact that Spokane WA is the number ONE city in the USA according to Realtor.com where the inbound/outbound ratio is the highest. What does this mean ? At the time of their study which was published (3/1/18) by Sabrina Speianu, Economic Analyst with realtor.com states:

Defining Questions When Looking for Home are as important to the Buyer as they are their Realtor.
If you take just a little time to prepare well and answer some important questions, your process will be much smoother and more satisfying when looking for a home. Seeing " more " homes is not necessarily as good as seeing less of the right homes. In fact, in my experience it is critical to carefully weigh many defining questions prior to looking at someones private home.

It is Jan. 2017, so we now have the numbers in from December, 2016.
My oh my... there are just not enough homes for sale ! The real estate market in Spokane WA is flourishing in many ways, number of closed sales is up dramatically. ( almost 10% more total closed sales than 2015 ) So, there are BUYERS out there for sure! They just have to be a little more patient to find a home.
Averge Home prices went up 7.4 % which is great news for SELLERS !

WOW. All I can say is, buyers are buying, even though they have 25% less choices ( listed homes for sale ) than last year at this time. This truly speaks to the increase in numbers of serious buyers, and the fact that sellers have an advantage because there are not enough homes for sale in the Spokane area!

I recently visited Lolo Boutique in Spokane WA located at 319 W. 2nd ave. It had honestly been a couple of years since I was there, and I had to ask myself why! This is important to me as a former retail worker, I tend to get turned off at crabby sales people.
