Please sign up for bridge at the Cary Senior Center, slots fill up quickly.  There is Evening Bridge from 5 pm to 9pm ever Tuesday in room 303.  Daytime Bridge takes place from 1 pm to 4pm in Ballroom 2 every Monday.   Finally, there is Duplicate Bridge which is in room 303 the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 1 pm to 4 pm.  Make sure you register for these events!  If you do not, then you won’t be able to participate!

Classroom 302 at the Cary Senior Center is buzzing with activity!  They have a program going on called: Resources for Seniors – Ask the Health Expert.  These classes are free and bring in health experts to explore health and aging issues. On April 13th at 9:30 am, the conversation will be able your eyelids.  Dr. Zaldivar will discuss the anatomy of your eyelid, as well as how the changes over time impact your vision.  Feel free to ask questions during this discussion.

Carolyn Furkey will teach you the basics of how to knit and purl at a Knitting for Beginners class at the Cary Senior Center.  There will be 6 classes in all from April 14th to May 26th, with no class on April 28th.  The classes run from 9:30 am to 11:30 am in the conference room.  You will be creating a sleeveless top, while learning how to use various sizes of needles, yarns, how to do measurements and how to properly piece your creation together.  Cost for the class is $39 for Cary residents and $51 for non-Cary residents.
