Have cabin fever? Forget the cold and snow outside. The 186th Annual Philadelphia International Flower Show runs through March 8th at the Philadelphia Convention Center. This year’s theme is “Celebrate the Movies” inspired from Disney and Disney-Pixar movies thanks to a Disney partnership.
The nation’s largest flower show, with over 250,000 visitors, will feature horticultural displays inspired by the work of horticulturalists/ artists and provide a week of entertainment and education. The show covers 33 indoor acres, with exhibit space taking up 10 acres.

exhibits: Earth Day Festival Saturday, April 26th

The Mechanicsburg Earth Day Festival will be held on Saturday, April 26th from 9 am to 3pm. It is a free one-day event and one of the best events annually. The festival is open to the public and offered through the Downtown Mechanicsburg Partnership. Throughout the charming downtown area, in the vicinity of Main and Market Streets, there will be several workshops, exhibitors, vendors and children’s activities relating to our environment. The Mechanicsburg School District, local non-profit organizations and state agencies will all be participating to help increase awareness about the earth and what we can do to protect it.
