The Philadelphia International Flower Show has always been one of the most beautiful and artistic events you could ever see. By far, the Philadelphia Horticultural Society’s show has always been my most favorite event of the year.
I've been to a dozen flowers shows in Philadelphia, but never visited on a weekend, this was my first time and will, without a doubt, be the last. The crowds were suffocating. According to show organizers visits among children and students doubled, obviously because of the Disney theme.
This year, the “movie” theme was impressive even though all the displays were Disney flicks. (15 comments)
Forget the cold outside and remind yourself tomorrow Spring arrives at the Philadelphia Convention Center with the 185th Annual Philadelphia International Flower Show. This year’s theme is “ARTiculture” filling 10 acres of exhibition space into a living canvas of art. The nation’s largest flower show will feature horticultural displays inspired by the work of artists and provide a week of entertainment and education.
New this year is the Butterfly Experience room, an interactive and educational exhibit with 20 species and more than 1,000 butterflies. I can hardly wait to stop by and see these beauties as they, as (14 comments)
