By making some simple changes and choices in your landscaping, you can help protect and conserve water, save energy, and reduce your impact on the environment while saving money too. Are you spraying? Only if absolutely necessary, treat plants with the least toxic measure that gets the job done. Use vinegar as a herbicide rather than chemicals. landscape: No April Fools, Landscapes in the Northeast Need First Aid
- 04/01/14 11:50 AM
No April fooling, I haven't gotten much done outside yet this year. The last few weeks would have normally been the time period we begin cleaning up the landscape here in Central Pennsylvania, but most of us are now looking at performing first aid.
Just in time for new and seasoned homeowners, the Penn State Extension in Cumberland County is conducting a series of five Wednesday-evening seminars dealing with what to plant in your landscaping. - 04/25/13 10:40 AM

For curb appeal, invest some money in hiring a professional landscaper and keep the hardscaping to a minimum. A reasonable amount of money can be used to make a stunning looking home with just a few trees, some plants and a well-manicured lawn. Keeping costs down on this and doing (2 comments)
