moving: Good Luck and Superstitions

Today we heard it a hundred times, “it’s the luck of the Irish.” Last week there were mumblings about “Friday the 13th.”
In the past few days, I’ve given some thought to superstitions. Yesterday (Monday) I celebrated a rather significant birthday, but began the festivities on Sunday – why? It is believed that you should only celebrate your birthday earlier or on your actual birth day. If you celebrate it after it is considered very bad luck. I'm lucky though, since I'm Irish I'm able to celebrate once again. So if you decide to throw a belated surprise birthday (21 comments)
