Buckley Air Force Base is located in Aurora, Colorado and provides jobs to over six thousand people along with supporting every branch of the military. It is also home to the Colorado Air National Guard with its squadron of F-16 fighter jets. Located on base you will find giant white domes that house communications and sensors arrays, which is what the base is known for. The golf ball resemblance domes were built in 1970, and are used by the 2nd Space Warning Squadron to give early warnings of ballistic missile launches and other space operations from around the globe.
