Great Incentives in place-Low mortgage rates, Tax credits available, Mortgage brokers out and about, Adjusted prices almost everywhere-mostly lower ! Seems as if there should be some demand somewhere however about 20% of potential buyers are not in the game-These are folks who want to buy but have been impacted by job losses, reduced home values, economic contractions, and rising costs of everything! It is a certainty that rates have to go up, the dollar must get stronger, prices and values are still adjusting but at some point it will bottom and turn. I have been in the Real Estate business since 1983. This year I have never seen such a low # of Realty transfers in our Sunday paper, I have more fingers to count. I am searching for positive results, outcomes, and activity-to know where to turn for an Auction to work on. There just seems to be no confidence in the marketplace! What is going to be in the offering this Fall when all the gimmmicks, rebates,tax credits are in the wind. Rates are great, 100% financing is still available and prices are the lowest I have ever experienced but where are … (0 comments)
