Sunday afternoon took a shocking turn when undefeated Florida State University was blocked from winning the National Championship. The night before , FSU finished a perfect season going 13-0 by winning the ACC Championship Game. The 13 Member Selection Committee ruled that two teams with a loss should be place ahead of undefeated FSU ??. HOWEVER , FSU might have another path remaining to win the National Championship! They have been paired against reigning Champions ( 2021&2022) Georgia. If they beat GA , FSU will finish at 14-0 ! And if both Michigan & Washington lose their Bowl Games , FSU will be the only Undefeated Team in College Football !!! They … (8 comments)

Since 1993 the Land Grant Trophy is ups for grabs as both Penn State and Michigan State meet to conclude their seasons . Most years it is a very important game for Playoff and/or Bowl Opportunities. This year Penn State will revive playing its Final Game on Black Friday since 1982 ! The game will be featured on National TV starting at 7:30 . MSU will not be bowling this year , but PSU has a lot at stake, as far as Bowl Selection. The good news for this PSU Alumni is that we are favored to keep the Land Grant Trophy this year ! . College Football is going through Realignment again. And the PAC 12 finds itself in a very precarious situation. It is on the verge of being raided again and the possible loss of more schools . Two things have brought about this : 1. USC and UCLA are leaving the PAC for the BIG 10 in 2024 . A huge blow to the PAC 2. The Big 12 leaped frogged the PAC by obtaining it’s New TV Money Deal and eliminated several key sources of income for the PAC 12. It's only 8:30am on Saturday morning and I'm watching Penn State take on the American Conference champion UCF . Also unusual is that this game is LIVE from Ireland ! This game is important ranking-wise for both teams and will be a very tough first game test for both teams. It's all ready 7-0 PSU in the opening minutes ! The linch-pin is now moving ! The Mizzou Tigers have all but given notice that they will become the fourth school in 2 years to leave the Big 12 ! The official announcement should come this week . Meanwhile the Big East Conference has been fighting for it's football life(their basketball league remains very strong). Two teams,Pitt and Syracuse, have accepted invites into the ACC starting in 2014 which brings the league's remaining football membership to six.
