recycling days: West Lampeter Twp. kicks off Recycling Days 2012, Lancaster Co., PA

This Saturday Jan.7,2012 West Lampeter Twp. will kickoff the first of four 2012 community collection days. The first follows the holidays where many have purchased all types of new electronic devices which have relegated old equipment to closets and basements , never to be used again. Last collection day (held in 2011) saw the collection of 3,000 lbs. of e-waste alone ! The West Lampeter Twp. recycling committee is accepting cardboard boxes, styrofoam packaging materials, computers and phone books in addition to items outlined on it's website. some of the items collected like cardboard actually help offset township costs for removal of … (3 comments)
