NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was quoted this week that Super Bowl LIV in Miami will generate one billion dollars in the economy. A BILLION DOLLARS! According to an article in business site First Round there's a .00006% chance of building a billion dollar company. Although the NFL is generating a $1,000,000,000 of revenue it is a collective effort by many businesses, across multiple years, it remains a jaw dropping number. Tampa is hosting their 5th Super Bowl with the last Super Bowl in 2009. Okay, I guess it is time to date myself. When I was a young boy growing up in Tampa, not far from MacDill AFB, I remember to this day a family picnic. My dad threw all of five of us children in a 1956 pale green Chevrolet for a ride to Lithia Springs Park. Of course SUV's had not been invented nor had seat belts for that fact.
