Recently I have been having fun with video, but I decided to include some of my notes for those people that are in their office and prefer NOT to have my voice blaring through their speakers. I had the opportunity to sit down and chat with past NAHREP (National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals) board member, Yamila Ayad. Yamila is passionate about serving the Hispanic home buyer/borrower with integrity. She, along with other real estate professionals, like Tino Diaz, crafted a document that details a Code of Ethics for real estate practitioners to follow. In the Latino community, there is a great lack of information tailored specifically to home buyers that prefer to communicate in Spanish and unfortunately this has lead to people getting into mortgages that become problematic.
