Social Networks – Is There One You Just Hate?
 
Social Networking is all the rage these days and it seems like dozens of new social networks spring up each week.  There are several that really annoy me and for which a reasonable way to describe my emotions about them would be to say that I hate them.

The Real Estate Open Networkers Group on LinkedIn was only started recently and it already has over 600 members as of May 23, 2008.  The group was established for people involved in the real estate industry in one way or another and who are interested in the open networking style of growing their online network. 
You can invite other real estate and finance professionals to the group and you can join if you are interested in connecting on LinkedIn with hundreds of other real estate professionals.

On Tuesday night my company sponsored a face to face networking event that happens once a month at various venues around the Greater Phoenix Arizona area. This networking group is called LinkedIn Live and it consists of people who are members of LinkedIn.com who get together offline to meet and get to know each other better and learn about each others' businesses. The event was held at the Pink Taco Restaurant at the Waterfront in Scottsdale Arizona on Tuesday May 13, 2008 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.
