Real Estate investing has always been a big part of Westhampton Beach's history. Founded in 1666 as part of the "Quogue Purchase", it wasn't long after, 1675, in fact that its first real estate boom occurred. Even back then folks knew about location, location, location. By the time the Long Island Railroad reached town in 1870, Westhampton Beach was already attracting a vacation crowd and The Hamptons were fast becoming a resort haven.
