The Park City Board of Realtors statistics through May 2012 show that Gross Sales Volume of $490M was up 3% from the same period in 2011, with sales for the month of May 6% stronger than May, 2011.  Overall pending sales are up over May 2011. We are starting to see multiple offers on selected properties. Distressed properties are having a minimal impact on the current market, as the inventory of distressed properties has been reduced considerably.

The Park City Board of Realtors statistics through March 2012 show that Gross Sales Volume of $236M was down 7% from the same period in 2011, though sales for the month of March were much stronger than January.  Overall pending sales are up 31% over March 2011, which should make for stronger sales in April and May. Distressed properties are having a minimal impact on the current market, as the inventory of distressed properties has been reduced considerably.
