The best real estate decision I ever personally made was to purchase a home with a screened porch. In Upstate South Carolina, our climate is very mild most of the time, making a screened porch ideal. For about nine months out of the year I use the porch. It's great to have quiet talks on, enjoy family time, play with the kids, or just sit on the swing and think deep thoughts. Every once in a while, I run into a client who doesn't know Keller Williams Realty (hard to believe, now that we're the fourth largest and fastest growing company in North America). They will bring up the name of the largest competitor in our local market, and say, "I haven't heard of you, but Rock Realty (pseudonym utilized) is the biggest around town. Everyone knows their name!"
