Lee County shows sixth consecutive month of increases Single-family home sales across the Greater Fort Myers area rose again in June for the sixth consecutive month, according to the statistics released by the REALTOR Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach, Inc. Sales of single-family homes rose by 53.2 percent on a year over year basis, with the number of closed sales at 717 compared to 468 last June. Good morning all! I wanted to share a story with you about what happened to me on Friday at a local event that we were involved in for people who work in our hospitals. For all who may have never heard of me I work for ForclosureToursRUs in the Ft. Myers area and we run a tour bus that showcases many homes seven days a week. Hello all, First off let me say that I don't want to jinx a good thing. BUT when your phones are ringing off the hook and your writing deals everyday maybe something is really happening. I have been in Southwest Florida since 1985 and started buying real estate around 14 years ago when you could buy a Cape Coral off water lot for $500.00.
