Hey Everybody,
The Mount Vernon Dog Park is officially open!!  The Grand Opening celebration was yesterday afternoon.  Larry Otos, the Dirctor of the Mount Vernon Parks and Recreation Department as well as Candidate for Mayor of the City of Mount Vernon hosted the event yesterday afternoon at 3:00pm.  There must have been 75+ dogs and I don't know how many more people at the celebration.
The new Mount Vernon Dog Park is located at the North End of Bakerview Park.  To get there, enter Bakerview Park from Fir Street, drive into the parking lot and the dog park is at the … (0 comments)
