Garden City City Council members voted unanimously Monday night to deny approval to a developer's plans for a 5 acre site adjacent to the Boise River that was the former Coffey Mobile Home Park. The mobile park was in the news in 2006 because of the efforts of the owner to remove the residents of the old trailers on the site. Clearing of the old trailers and shacks, as well as mounds of debris, has been ongoing over the last two months, and the property has lately been much less of a blight than in years past.The city council determined that … (0 comments)
