It is imperative to price homes at or just slightly under what we consider to be "Market Value" as we continue to compete with foreclosure properties and short sales. Everyone is looking for a bargain, and if a property is not considered to be a value or bargain, it will be overlooked.

Yesterday I did two open house. I had 12 couples to one of them, and I got an offer on another by the end of the day. Could the Ridgefield CT market really be picking up? I think it is. If homes are priced at or slightly below their sold comparable property prices, the consumer is seeing value and making offers. Pricing is the key. Price thise homes right and sell, sell, sell!!!

Being a Realtor in Ridgefield CT, it is difficult to navigate between the harsh reality of where our market is today and the expectations of buyers and sellers in the market. Much like the stock market, influences outside the market effect the activity within the market as a whole.
