The Atlantic & Yadkin Greenway is a long greenway that is the union of several paths such as the Lake Brandt Greenway, Battleground Rail Trail, and the Bicentennial Greenway. Those paths along with the old abandoned Atlantic-Yadkin Railroad bed make up the new Atlantic & Yadkin Greenway. The present rail trail starts well within Greensboro and continues through Battleground Park and Bur-Mil Park along Lake Brandt lets everyone enjoy the beauty of nature.
