Throughout the Pocono Region Sales have been up, and the number of homes for sale are down, compared to previous years. The Number of homes sold for May of 2013 was 23, UP from the 21 sold in May of 2012.

The Absorption rate for Pocono Homes for sale within Monroe County continues to climb. We did see a leveling during June and July as illustrated above. Personally I had anticipated seeing the Absorption rate go down for July and August but I did not get what I wanted. I know - Big Surprise - given the Economy. However, in reading other blogs here on Active Rain regarding the Absorption rate in other areas of the Country I am seeing areas where their Absorption rates are dropping so it is only a matter of time before ours do too given our … (0 comments)
