British Car Show Question and EMail Address Katy Texas I received a query from Rob who reads my blogs on ActiveRain and his question was about a British Car Show in Katy Texas. Last year there was a car show in Katy Texas that spotlighted British cars. I wrote a blog and took some pictures. Several of these cars were really cool. Katy Christian Ministries is a non-profit social service charity that is serving Katy, West Houston, Fulshear and Simonton Texas areas. This group offers emergency financial assistance to individuals , food pantries that feed the needy and a crisis center that houses domestic abuse and sexual assault centers. The charity has two resale shops and two donation centers. This group has been in existence since the mid 1980's and was formed by the alliance of several different churches who were all trying to help their communities. Goodwill Industries opened a new 14,000 square-foot Goodwill Select Store during December 2010. The store is located at the intersection of Fry Road and Saums which is in a shopping center formerly housed Jo-Ann Crafts and Fabrics. This is the second Goodwill Select store in the area as the first store opened about 3 years ago at the corner of Mason Kingsland. Good will Select stores carry designer-label clothing and merchandise for men, women and children and all items are sold at a discount.
