The Katy Branch Library will host a Resume Writing seminar on Wednesday September 9, 2015. The class is scheduled to begin 4:30PM and last until 6PM. This is a very timely seminar as many folks who live in the Katy and surrounding areas have been recently let go from their jobs in the energy industry. Participants will learn how to customize Microsoft Word 2013 Templates to individual needs/wants and also learn how to make yourself standout from the large crowd of potential applicants in front of employer recruiters.

The Harris County Library system has announced its Christmas Holiday hours. All the Harris county Libraries will close on Friday December 21, 2012 at 5 PM. The system will reopen its doors again Wednesday December 26, 2012 at 10 AM.
The Katy area has two Harris County Branch locations that I cover in my blog. The first is the Maud Smith Marks branch library is located at 1815 Westgreen Blvd. , Katy Texas 77450. The Katy Branch Library is close to the Katy Police headquarters and is located at 5414 Franz Road, Katy TX 77493.
