Inventory levels in South Katy or MLS area 36 have been on the low side for over one year. Prices during 2014 have jumped up rather dramatically which is no surprise to me at all. Builders prices of new homes have risen due to inflation and high demand. Believe it or not Katy TX. is going to have its own version of the Gong Show. On Saturday November 9, 2013 Multiplicity in Old Katy will host the second annual Katy Gong Show. The Gong show fun begins at 6:30 PM and the evening will end around 9:30 PM.

Texas Comptroller Susan Combs wants all shoppers/consumers to know money can be saved on specific items costing less than $100 during the annual Texas Sales Tax Holiday. Year 2013 finds sales tax holiday being moved from next weekend ( Aug 16-18) to Friday, Saturday and Sunday August 9 thru August 11, 2013. All of us need to pay close attention to the dates each year as these can change.

My father-in-law is a Korean War Veteran and was a Purple Heart recipient. Many years he did not talk very much about the war and just in the last few years he has sort of opened up a little. Yes the joys of pool ownership are always staring you in the face in Grand Lakes even when a pool maintenance person is suppose to be maintaining your pool and chemicals. We were gone starting on Friday June 28, 2013 and returned late on Friday July 5, 2013 and to our dismay I found we had a serious mustard algae problem on Saturday morning had invaded our pool.
