Dark chocolate is now almost becoming a member of the health-food group as another research study released its findings. There have been numerous studies which have reported and demonstrated the nutritional benefits of eating dark chocolate.
Appetite Magazine recently published the results of a study that found you may be able to boost cognitive function by regularly eating dark chocolate. On May 13 and May 14, 2016 the American Cancer Society is hosting its annual relay for life. This event takes place in numerous cities all across the US plus around the world and each has its own unique touches. My business plan emphasis for years 2014 thru 2016 has been centered on improving my own health. Our friend Roy Kelley asked in a post the other day what flower color gives you a more positive attitude? I answered virtually all flowers make me smile and gives off positive vibes. I found this flower in the picture below in our backyard this morning . This plant has flowers every year even though it gets minimal attention. It gives me a positive vibes as does the bouquets I periodically buy at Trader Joe’s in Katy TX for Yolanda. How about you?

Today I have been back to putting a new rock garden on the side of our right hand side of our driveway. We have been ruining the grass on the sides of the driveway every spring when the ground is very soft. Our driveway is too narrow for the sizes of the cars who have to fit here. Backing down the driveway sometimes finds the car in the grass. This company sells personal sized pizza’s that are assembled and/or modified as customers select toppings of their choice. The pizza is then baked very quickly in a extremely hot oven. The pizza is done in 3 minutes. This is hard to beat as you make your own decisions and waiting time is not an issue. One of their motto’s is “Simple Food for Complex Times”.

We were handed a card at hotel bar a few months ago. The card stated “ATTITUDE
Is a small thing that makes a

I keep this card as it is so true for all business and especially for individuals involved in Real Estate. Growler USA will open a new Microbrew Pub Franchise during the summer of 2016. It will be located at 1443 FM 1463 Suite 100 Katy, TX. The West section of unincorporated Katy continues its fast pace growth.
The Microbrew facility will have 100 taps of local and regional craft beers plus other beverages such as hard ciders, draught wines and nonalcoholic kombucha tea. I think the 100 taps of craft beers will draw a large interest from the Katy and beyond residents.

Almost Speechless Sunday - Pictures from a Trip
During December, 2010 we took a fun and adventurous trip. Shortly after we got back from this trip I had my hip replacement surgery which was no fun at all. I found these pictures along with numerous others today buried on my old HP. I finally figured out how to import these pictures into my MacBook Air. I am making some progress with handling pictures with the Mac. Very slow but progress. The pictures brought a smile to my face.

The Orchard Hosts Dog Park Grand Opening
The Orchard which is an assisted living and memory care facility is hosting the Grand Opening of its own Dog Park for its residents use on Wednesday March 30, 2016. The event begins at 3 PM and will last until about 6 PM.

We traveled on Friday from Katy TX to San Antonio and came back Sunday afternoon. We went to visit Yolanda’s Mom’s grave site and to check on her Dad’s home in San Antonio. I did not get an opportunity to post comments or blogs while we were away or after returning on Sunday.

Buc-ee's which owns several major travel centers spread across the state of Texas is planning to build a Travel Center right here in Katy, TX. The Center will be built on the northwest corner of Cane Island Parkway and Interstate I-10. Construction could begin during the summer of 2016 with estimated completion date of summer 2017.

National Puppy Day March 23, 2016
Today is the 10th anniversary of National Puppy Day. This day was the brainchild of Colleen Paige. The goal of celebrating this specific day is to ‘help save orphaned puppies across the globe and educate the public about the horrors of puppy mills”. I think this a wonderful goal and certainly I support the whole concept.
There always seems to be more unwanted litters of puppies, strays and dogs/puppies dumped at various shelters and or on the street than folks who adopt and provide a loving/caring homes.
