Market Trends 2012 Update for Home Sales in South Katy Cinco Ranch West What is happening in Cinco Ranch West Real Estate Market in terms of actual sales during 2012? The Real Estate market in South Katy Texas (MLS area 36) is basically defined by what occurs in the numerous Master Planned Communities which are scattered across this whole geographically large area. The Houston Real Estate Market is extremely large and very complex market with numerous sub markets all performing somewhat independently. Houston has 46 separate and distinct MLS areas. Katy Texas is just one part of these numerous sub-markets. I believe the Katy market is comprised of 3 unique market areas each having different characteristics. Mortgage Fraud still a big Problem in Katy Texas and Entire US First I want to explain that this blog is not attempting to just beat everyone with more negative information about the Real Estate market in Katy Texas or anywhere else in the United States. I just want all who work in this field and consumers to be aware the problem still exists and has not gone away. The FBI is reporting that mortgage fraud is widespread and the perpetrators are highly motivated by the fact they have little risk of getting caught and can reap very high profits. … (7 comments)
