Go to your FRIEND list and scroll deep. Just keep scrolling. Find 10 friends you haven't spoken to in a long time and right click on their face and open then in a new tab or window. Restart the friendship and ask them if they know anyone looking to buy or sell a home soon.

- Valentines: Suggest gifts and places to dine.
- President's Day: Blog about Presidents from the past. To avoid politics try to pick one of the founding fathers.
- Mardi Gras: There are a lot of elements of the holiday that could provide colorful pictures and posts.

Today's marketing idea: This is a fill in the blank day. I apparently sent the same idea twice in a row so today, go back through the ideas previously posted and actually put them to use. What I find is that most people read the ideas but don't implement them. You can spend time or money or both in advertising. But you can't afford to spend neither.

Today's marketing idea: Guerilla Marketing! Have a free give away. I use pens but you could use key rings, unique business cards, Post-its or some other give away. Then give them away EVERYWHERE. Leave them on the shelves at grocery stores, Walgreens, Target, Wal-Mart or anywhere. Just plant them like Easter Eggs. If you drop one marketing item everywhere then every trip is a marketing expense!

Search Realtor.com for Agents in NYC, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago and other major cities. Email those agents, friend them on social media and offer them healthy referral commissions if they have clients moving to your city. Reach out across the miles and meet people.

Today's marketing idea: If you can't host, you can post!
It's Superbowl Day, and just like you, people will be spending the day with their eyes glued to the TV and their phones. You can't be on TV but you can be on their social media feeds.
Since people like to talk about themselves, ask people what they're serving at their Superbowl Party, what they're drinking and if they're supporting either team.
Bonus: Post houses from both Boston & Seattle. Show your friends what $300,000 will buy in each of those cities. Then show them what $300,000 will buy in YOUR city. … (0 comments)

Today's marketing idea: Post Three! Post three kitchens in on post and ask people which one they would prefer. Post three patios, living rooms, sofas, dining tables, etc. Post three and ask for opinions. Comment in the feed and gain contacts. Do this regularly and people will start looking for them.

Today's marketing idea: Green tips help your clients reduce their utility costs. New homes can be built very efficiently, but existing homes need a lot of help. Blog posts about windows, doors, insulation, HVAC maintenance, low flow faucets, LED lighting and more. Pick one every few weeks and post in your social media pages and newsletters.

Today's marketing idea: Love is in the air and in the stores. Got to Target, Home Depot or just the mall and take pictures of gift ideas for both women and men. BBQ Grills, Jewelry, Kitchen Stuff, etc. Post those pictures to Facebook, Pintrest & Instragram. Tag the store in the post so your folks know where to shop. Use a hashtag like #BobsGiftIdeas. Also include some things people can buy for themselves if their single #BobNeedsADate

Today's marketing idea: We think of food drives at Thanksgiving and coat drives in December, but right now the Northeast is getting plastered by bad weather and our food banks are low.
Run a food or coat drive. Offer to drive to your client's homes to collect items for the drive. It's a great time for you to meet with your clients and to do well for the community.

Today's marketing idea: Monday Morning Coffee Chat. Ask people what they drink in the morning...Coffee or tea? Ask if they like it loaded with coffee and cream or just plain.
Then send Starbuck's cards to three of your responders who are clients or who are big on social media. If they're big on social media they'll thank you online and you'll get more social media love.

Today's marketing idea: Three Minute Challenge - Set your timer for 3 minutes then write on a sheet of paper all the various topics that interest you. Try to list as much as you can in 3 minutes.
Talk about this list in your blog and challenge others to do the same. Maybe post a picture of your list on your blog. See how many interests you have in common with your clients. This will create affinity relationships which grows your sphere and gets you referrals.

Superbowl Party Planning! Now is the time to plan to host a party or happy hour for your clients. Have a big bash for your A-List clients either at your home, office or a great restaurant. Have everyone vote on the best commercial of the night!
ALTERNATIVE: If you can't host, you can post! Be on social media during the game and live post comments about the game and commercials. Ask your social media friends what play, player or commercial was best and worst.
