Lithia Springs,Douglasville, Ga, Sweetwater Creek State Park, Hike Last Saturday morning we met some friends for a hike at Sweetwater Creek State Park in Lithia Springs, (Douglasville), Ga. How about a Dog Park in Powder Springs, Ga? I  have  heard several people around around Powder Springs mention that they would like us to have a dog park here in the area. This would be a great place to spend some quality outdorr time with our pets. Mayor Vaughn has mentioned that it is being discussed but the location and funding are questionable.  One possibility might be the  at the linear park that the city has proposed along the Silver Comet Trail. The Marietta parks department once again presented the A1A Jimmy Buffett tribute band as a part of the concerts on the square summer concert series. This is always a high point of the summer, the weather was perfect, and a great time was had by all!
