The Pascack Valley Line consists of the Hoboken section of the NJ Transit and has trains that run from Hoboken through Bergen County and Rockland County, and New York City. Originally, the Pascack Valley Line was chartered from the Hackensack and New York Railroad in 1856. The Erie Railroad purchased the line in 1896. In 1960, a merger was conducted that created the Erie Lackawanna Railroad. Parts of the original rail system travels as far as Haverstraw in New York. NJ Transit is now offering 126 new trains on the Pascack Valley Line, including 16 new weekday trains going to Hoboken and (2 comments)
