- 08/27/09 07:32 AM
Homes for Heroes has heroes from across the country logging on to our website for assistance. They are all looking for help in buying or selling a home. heroes: New Homes For Heroes Affiliate in Chicagoland
- 08/24/09 07:07 AM
Very proud to announce our newest Affiliate in Illinois. Ralph Vargo is the first Realtor in the state and we look forward to being able to help more heroes there now! Ralph Vargo Like the owners of Home for Heroes and millions of others I too was horrified at 911 and the unnnecessary loss of life especially the firefighters and police officers just trying to do there jobs under one of the worst disasters in our nation`s history. Myself like so many others asked " What can I do to help?". Well, over the years I feel I made small contributions to the heroes

heroes: Helping Heroes will build your business
- 08/12/09 07:21 AM
Homes For Heroes was created by a group of Realtors after 9/11 as a way to give back to the Military, Police and Fire Fighters in the community for risking their lives to protect our country and communities. After a report on the CBS Early Show, heroes from across the country started contacting the Minnesota group. Now Homes For Heroes has a website and heroes in 46 states. The problem is we need realtors and lenders in those states to help these heroes. If you know of a civic/patriotic minded realtor or lender that would be interested in joining our program

heroes: Our Hero Fire Fighters Hand Shake
- 07/10/09 03:45 AM
I was reading an article the other day and was surprised by this statistic - in 2007 118 Fire Fighter died in the line of duty in the USA. Of those 118 heroes 62 of them were volunteers. This is why we must pay tribute to these heroes in our communities. They are often overlooked. We stare at the expensive shinny trucks they use to put out the fires and save cats - but how often do we stop to realize that when it really counts - they put their lives on the line to save our properties and families. heroes: Could you help a Hero like this?
- 06/25/09 09:40 AM
Homes for Heroes Affiliate in Texas helps another Hero! The Villas"Wow, where do we begin?!?! Homes for Heroes not only helped us find our dream home, they saved us $2,374 in the process. Our Realtor calmed our home buyer jitters and made this a fun and exciting process! This was our second time purchasing a home and we understood the process a lot more this time. Our Realtor gave us the information we needed and explained things so we felt like confident, informed buyers and not in the dark. Initially we thought Homes for Heroes was just too good to

heroes: Homes For Heroes Affiliate Program
- 06/14/09 04:01 AM
Recently a Realtor posted a blog regarding her interpretation of our Homes For Heroes marketing program. And everyone is entitled to there views. This Realtor must already have a program in place to give back to the community that works. Some Realtors are looking for a way to give back and differentiate their company from the many others in their community. I encourage everyone do what they can to give back to those how give so much to our communities and country. If a Realtor or Lender is looking for an established and successful program for giving back to the community

heroes: Imitation is the best form of flattery, until..........
- 06/04/09 02:48 AM
Until your good name is besmirched. Homes for Heroes in the past has taken people leveraging our brand as flattery. We often ask if they would like to continue to use our good name by joining forces with us, and if they do not want to we are okay with that decision also. But recently something came up that does need to be addressed. We will let the Morris Daily Herald explain it. Illinois allegation hurts ‘real' Heroes Minneapolis, Minn-When Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan took enforcement action against the Minooka, Ill.-based Homes for Heroes Inc., says Brad Oosterhuis, it

heroes: Memorial Day memories
- 05/14/09 07:56 AM
As Memorial Day approaches - it reminds us of the incredible sacrifices our heroes have made for us. Service deserves it's rewards - but it seems like a lot of veterans have been passed by some how. Please take a minute in the coming weeks to reach out and say thanks to the veterans in your community. Especially our seniors. And for our modern day heroes - encourage these young folks for their selfless dedication to our country and help them where you can. We owe them our respect and resources.

- 05/07/09 02:51 AM
Websites are always a challenge. The current website for Homes For Heroes is very basic - but you have to start somewhere. Next week I'll undertake a re-design effort. This is a "call for comments" on what you think would be useful to someone looking at our site for the first time. WHAT'S MISSING? Your comments will be appreciated. - Brad

heroes: CRM search!
- 04/30/09 04:31 AM
Does anyone use the perfect Customer Relationship Management (CRM) online program? I'm looking! I'll need a program my Directors can use across the country as we build this program in all 50 states. In addition to building a Director staff I'm making media contacts to spread the message about "Homes For Heroes" - if you know of a civic and patriotic Realtor or Lender, please have them check us out.

heroes: Starting Line
- 04/24/09 01:40 AM
Well I guess we've all been there in some form - I feel like I'm at the Starting Line of the big race. I've gotten introduced to all the key people, have read all the literature and and got my laptop working (kinda). This race has no finish line though. Success is like breathing. A big breath of fresh air is wonderful - you always want more. But you have to let it go to get another. So I'm breathing deeply and taking it all in because Homes for Heroes is such a great cause and business idea. I'd welcome thoughts,
