Homes sold on the South Shore - August 2013 It's been a busy summer for home sales on the South Shore of Massachusetts. 263 single-family homes sold in August in Cohasset, Duxbury, Kingston, Hingham, Marshfield, Norwell, Pembroke, Plymouth and Scituate The AVERAGE SALES price was $542,000 LISTING price was $560,000 ORIGINAL list price was $576,000 ASSESSMENT was $494,000 AGE is 50 years (built in 1963) Average = total prices / number of homes
The MEDIAN SALES price was $535,000 LISTING price was $550,000 ORIGINAL list price was $550,000 ASSESSMENT was $534,000 Median = the home halfway down the list
