Here's an interesting chart. Duxury prices never went below their 2002 levels, on a per square foot basis, and have been meandering around that level for the past three or four years. Our town has a median price above $600,000. That's been pretty steady for the past few years also. The moon landing was another, but it was different: it was the first national television-event shared experience where we all tuned in to watch a planned event.
