Following in the steps of numerous municipalities throughout the country and state, the town of Breckenridge has implemented a fee for reducing disposable bags in Breckenridge. The ten cent fee will be levied on each single use bag issued to customers at all retail stores in town. The revenue will then be used to further public education and outreach for reducing disposable bags in Breckenridge.
