wordless wednesday: Wordless Wednesday: Tranquility - 03/17/10 02:30 PM

I honestly wish I could tell the story behind this one.  My husband come home with this photograph one day, and I don't know where he was driving when he found this idyllic scene.  When I was going through the hard drive today, this is the one that caught my attention, probably because of how crazy this month has been.  A little tranquility could be a good thing, but we all know that in the business, it is feast or famine.

wordless wednesday: Wordless Wednesday: Snow drops - 03/10/10 01:43 PM

All Rights Reserved.  Snow drops photographed a couple of years ago in early spring when the flowers were just beginning to bloom for the year.  These particular snow drops come from bulbs in our front yard flower bed in Monroe Wisconsin.  With the warm weather this week, I won't be surprised to see some popping up very soon!

wordless wednesday: Wordless Wednesday: Sign that you are on the wrong course - 02/17/10 01:49 PM

Photographed in August of 2008 at a state park at the edge of the Mississippi River while on vacation near Galena, Illinois.  This made us laugh out loud at the absurdity, especially considering it was about 20 feet away from the edge of the water.  We took a look at our GPS unit and started laughing even harder:

Do you think it was time to change course?

All rights reserved. Photographed in my backyard garden urban strawberry bed in Monroe WI, June 2008.  This was the second year our strawberries bore fruit and what a bumper crop we had!  Lots of jams and strawberry shortcakes for us last year.  Here is hoping that this year is just as good.
