Wednesday Sept 1 2010 is the opening day of Dove Season in Texas. It will cause confusion, panic and 911 calls all across the DFW area from folks that have recently moved to Texas. It can be quite unsettling your first year in the DFW area. If you live near agricultural land you may be awakened at the crack of dawn to the sound of shotguns blazing away in a random pattern designed to ruin your peaceful morning.
