Every year Indiana awards it's highest distinction to those elementary, middle and High Schools that meet the criteria in order to recive the Four Star Award given out by the Indiana Department of Education.
The basic standards for this award are that a school must meet adequate yearly progress goals established by the federal No Child Left Behind Act, be in the top 25% of all state schools in Math and English I-Step scores and in percentage of students passing both Math and English, meet minimum attendance requirements in the calendar year as a school. … (1 comments)
