The full schedule of lighting ceremonies and activities including the Festival of Trees, Santa and his Reindeer lighting and Headwaters Ice skating can be found on the website.  A great way to kick off your Holiday season and continue or start a Fort Wayne tradition.

   My favorite lighting of Santa and his Reindeer on the PNC bank building will begin at 6:15 on the corner of main and calhoun streets.

   Come out this Sunday October 28th, 2012 to Auer auditorium on the campus of IPFW for the Fort Wayne Philharmonic's Halloween Spooktacular concert. Pre concert activities begin at 1 with the concert to follow at 2pm.  Come in your favorite costume and be sure to bring all your little ghouls and goblins with you in their halloween attire.

   Pianist Fabio Bidini will join the orchestra for Rachmaninoff's piano concerto No. 3 after the orchestra opens the concert with contemporary composer Jonathan Leshnoff's Starburst. The concert will finish with Dvorak's Symphony No. 8 in G Major.

     Well ever since ol Punxsutawney phil decided that we're gonna have 6 more weeks of winter...people around here have been up in arms with what to do for another 6 weeks

 
     Aside from watching the Colts march on to another Super Bowl Victory, there's plenty still to do with the winter weather.
     The Toboggan Run at Pokagon State Park is open only for a few more weekends.  Open Fri-Sun, the runs last weekend scheduled to be open is February 28th, 2010.  The cost is $10 per toboggan per hour with a max of 4 people per toboggan.  … (2 comments)

    So for Friday it's "Hang out with your pinky out" evening...start the evening off enjoying a nice prime aged steak and some of the finest wines at Eddie Merlots
