Freeze Warning Tonight:DON'T WRAP YOUR PIPES   
1. Have Freeze Protect?
Pool owners with freeze protect: Your equipment should turn on automatically and may cycle on and off throughout the day. This is normal. 
 
2. Don't have Freeze Protect?
Run your pool equipment during the freeze. Change your timers to run the pool equipment at night, and keep the equipment running if freezing temperatures continue into the day.
 
DO NOT WRAP YOUR PIPES: The pool pump will get hot and will catch the blankets or whatever you use to wrap on fire.

freeze: League City Weather - Snow or Hail - 01/31/11 03:47 AM
League City Weather Advisory - There is a chance of large hail or snow tomorrow! I guess that would be an exciting way to start February.  The projected low for tomorrow according to the weather channel is 24 degrees.  Sounds more like Canada to me.
In the south, we need to take careful precautions because our homes (especially those built prior to 2001) are not built for this.  If the power is off in your home, the heat will not be on.  So, vacant homes especially need to drip their faucets or drain all pipes because there are lots of pipes … (0 comments)
