CITY OF LEAGUE CITY ENACTS STAGE THREE OF DROUGHT CONTININGENCY PLAN: MANDATORY WATER RATIONING
The City of League City is enacting stage three of the Drought Contingency Plan due to the current water usage. This plan is necessary to maintain pressure for firefighting purposes and to avoid other problems associated with low pressure. The following mandatory restrictions are required during stage three of the Drought Contingency Plan:

EAGUE CITY LIFTS MANDATORY WATER RATION!!! (Now only voluntary)
Thanks to the conservation efforts of the citizens and businesses of League City, the City has been able to downgrade to Stage 1 Voluntary Water Rationing as specified by the League City Code of Ordinances Chapter 114, Article VI, Drought Contingency Plan. The cooperation of our citizens and the hard work of our water production staff led to a successful Stage 2 Mandatory Water Rationing.  Our water usage decreased substantially and it is those efforts that allow us to lift the restrictions.  However, those same efforts will need to continue to be … (0 comments)
