====================================================================== Update # 2 Jan 23,2012====================================================================== It was reported today in the Miami Herald , that the president's past actions in streamlining visas from Brazil had accounted for a record where in 2010 Brazilians became the first billion-dollar touristmarket for the Miami area.During that same year the number of Brazilians visitors to South Florida was about 850,000.With the latest concentrated streamlining measures taken it is expected all past recordswill be surpassed by healthy percentages .

While my previous blog brought out the fact that one ecomomic adviser is predicting a 50% drop of real estate value in the next decade , yesterday the South Florida Business Journal was stating "New highs in real estate prices appear to be coming at a frenzied pace." Of course they were referring to top of the line condo projects in the most desirable locations in South Beach ,Florida .They referenced a 6,209-sf penthouse at the Setai Resort and Residences on Collins Avenue and 20th Street in Miami Beach earlier this month that sold for $21.5 million.
