A few days ago I shot this virtual tour in Bentonville Ar. I really liked some of the features of the home (and it's right across from the neighborhood playground and pool!), so when I was at my parent's house I showed the tour to them. Now, keep in mind my parents were not in the market for a home, or interested in the task of moving right now. I am tasked by realtors to go into all kinds of homes to photograph them. Most are beautiful homes and some even leave me with a little house envy. Around here right in the middle of the US we don't have any beach front property, very few grand cityscape views, but we do have our own marvelous touches of nature. Wouldn't you love to look out your window and see this everyday?

I had the pleasure of viewing this property and shooting from the 5th floor balcony. I really wanted to show the evening view, isn't it pretty! I did want to get a few more shots, but we ran out of sunset so we were happy with this. Anthony was nice enough to stick around late so I could get a shot that fit my vision.

I've been meeting with a local Northwest Arkansas home stager, Donna Schoby of Ready, Set, Stage!, and we've had some very nice discussions on real estate photography, marketing, and the real estate industry in general. As a professional photographer in Real Estate it makes me cringe when I see some of the listing photos put out there. If you understand the value of curb appeal, if you understand the value of a well staged home, but you neglect the value of high quality photos you are really doing yourself a huge disservice. Over 80% of home shopping begins on the internet where your pictures do ALL the talking, that's a big deal!
